Gilbert Yates has built Healthcare Ireland as a leader in the Northern Irish healthcare space. The Company was founded out of developing care home facilities for UK healthcare groups. Through this work, Gilbert saw an opportunity to develop the business into delivering best-in-class care and facilities.

As the Founder and Managing Director, Gilbert is a humble and accessible leader who’s continually striving for advancement throughout our Homes. Healthcare Ireland has grown rapidly from humble beginnings in 2015 with the opening of Bradley Manor. From then, Gilbert has acquired, refurbished, developed, and now operates 25 Homes with a diverse portfolio of services. With over 1,800 staff and 1,200 beds across Northern Ireland, the Company is continually expanding and providing exceptional person-centred care.

Gilbert has built a team with expertise and a genuine passion for care, working closely with the Directors and Managers. It’s not uncommon to find Gilbert in one of the Homes, checking up on the site and making sure the team have everything they need.
